Millwork is any type of woodwork produced in a mill. Traditionally, this work has been focused on doors, trim, molding, paneling, and other bespoke woodworking products. Today, millwork often includes additional materials like steel, aluminum and other common construction materials.

Traditionally, the difference between millwork and casework is that millwork is custom and built specifically to order. Casework, in general, is prefabricated or modular.
